The UDC Consortium (UDCC) is a non-profit international association of publishers that owns and manages the Universal Decimal Classification (UDC) since 1991. Headquartered in The Hague, Netherlands, the consortium is responsible for maintaining, revising, and distributing the UDC, one of the most widely used bibliographic classification systems in the world. The UDCC coordinates the development of the classification scheme and licenses its use to publishers and library systems internationally.
