SPAR (Semantic Publishing and Referencing) Ontologies is a community-driven initiative that develops a suite of orthogonal and complementary OWL 2 ontologies for describing the publishing domain. The SPAR ontologies enable the creation of comprehensive machine-readable RDF metadata for scholarly publications, including bibliographic records, citations, contributions, and publishing workflows.
