The RKD - Netherlands Institute for Art History (Dutch: RKD-Nederlands Instituut voor Kunstgeschiedenis) is located in The Hague and houses the largest art history documentation center in the world. The center specializes in documentation, archives, and books on Western art from the late Middle Ages to modern times. RKD collects, categorizes, and makes art-historical research publicly available, with a particular focus on Dutch Masters. Much of its collection has been digitized and is accessible through its website and linked data services.
