OpenAIRE (Open Access Infrastructure for Research in Europe) is a European research infrastructure that supports open scholarly communication, open access publishing, and open science practices. Founded in 2009, OpenAIRE operates a scientific knowledge graph and provides tools and services that help researchers, institutions, and funders manage and discover research outputs. The initiative develops metadata guidelines and interoperability standards that facilitate the aggregation and linking of research publications, datasets, and project information across European repositories.
