An open community project developing an RDF ontology for describing music-related information on the Semantic Web.
Community / Open Project Inactive
The Music Ontology Project is a community effort that developed an RDF/OWL ontology for describing music-related information on the Semantic Web. The Music Ontology provides classes and properties for representing musical works, performances, recordings, artists, and their relationships, enabling linked data applications in the music domain. The project builds upon the FRBR (Functional Requirements for Bibliographic Records) model and integrates with other ontologies such as FOAF and the Timeline Ontology.
